It's holiday time in China, you're in Shanghai, and looking for the best attractions and places to visit nearby. I know—you haven't got a clue about where to go, what to see, or what to do. Here's my list of 10+ top things to do and places to see near Shanghai:
Shanghai or Kunshan? I know, it's a difficult choice to make, especially considering that both cities are vastly different but lie within a few minutes train ride from each other.
Let's keep it real: Kunshan can be BORING at times, am I right? Well, that's why you should invest in a pet. I myself bought a pet dog in Kunshan a few years back, and I tell ya' it was one of the best decisions I had ever made.
How ironic: I got my e-bike stolen on my very last day of work, and to add icing on the cake, I found out just minutes before my colleagues would throw me a surprise party.
There are 7 major roads you’ll need to familiarize yourself with when living in Kunshan. Luckily Kunshan is fairly easy to navigate and it’s guaranteed that you’ll run into these roads. They’re all located within a short span of each other and inside Kunshan’s city center.

How about the weather in Kunshan anyways? Kunshan's weather is never really stable, except for in the summer when you can rest assure that everyday will be scorching hot. There is a fair share of pollution on occasion, but you won't be exposed to the thick blankets of smoke that cities such as Shanghai and Beijing often endure.
