Yep, Heilongjiang strip has become a go-to spot for many foreigners AND locals living in Kunshan. If your “newbie” is fresh to Kunshan, a night out at Heilongjiang strip is one of the first places they should visit to get to know where they can dine-out on food from back home and meet other foreigners. Am I right?

TAI-CHI & SQUARE DANCING
Likewise, a traditional activity that I had never been exposed to before I came to China—square dancing—just as equally blew my mind away. There had been nothing even remotely close to it in the States, and nor did I think that an idea like square dancing even existed.
With that in mind, PLEASE make sure to invite your “newbie” to a square dancing and/or Tai-chi gathering. Trust me, it will blow their socks off!

KTVs are everywhere in Kunshan, but try heading over to the Freeport KTV at Parkson Plaza. They have a great selection of popular English tunes to choose from.
I LOVED to watch movies, and here I was in a DVD store filled with discs that were only a $1. I was in Heaven, and surely any “newbie” to Kunshan will undoubtedly feel the same.
Try heading to 44 Huanghe Road or 361 Tongfeng Road.
