I had bought a pet dog in Kunshan a few years back. At the time I wasn't even looking for the extra company but after tagging along with some friends to the pet and flower market along Bailu Road I ended up with a black and white puppy that was only a few weeks old.
How ironic: I got my e-bike stolen on my very last day of work at Shimao Plaza in Kunshan, and to add icing on the cake, I found out just minutes before my colleagues would throw me a surprise party.

Zhouzhuang Ancient Water Town, known as the “Venice of the East,” is renown throughout China. Located in the southeast region of Kunshan, the town withholds an AAAAA classification by the China National Tourism Association for its well-preserved ancient buildings amid beautiful, narrow canals.
Jinxi Ancient Water Town is another famous old town south of Kunshan. Just a 45-minute bus ride from Kunshan South Station, the water town is less crowded and offers more of a scenic atmosphere for tourists while straying away from the growing commercialism of Zhouzhuang, Kunshan’s most popular ancient town.
Jianhang Tai Chi Water Village is one of Kunshan’s lesser-known water towns and scenic attractions. There you’ll find a boatload of fairly old and semi-modern houses spread out around small ponds and large lakes.
Huiju Temple is a massive cultural & historical complex housing several temples and dozens of statues of Buddhist deities. Located on the Eastside of the Kunshan and just north of the Kunshan Convention & Exhibition Center, I find it surprising that the Huiju Temple hasn't been relished as one of the top attractions throughout the city.
