My 4-day trip to Singapore was far more extraordinary than I had imagined it would be. Having already explored many fantastic places across China and few nearby regions like Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea, I was set on having my next adventure take place in the “Lion City”. How, you ask? Well, for 3 reasons.
Can Americans travel to Singapore without a visa? Yes, as of the time this article was written, Americans with a valid US passport valid for at least six months beyond the date of your intended stay and traveling to Singapore for the purposes of tourism or business can enter Singapore without a visa for up to 90 days.
My stop at Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands was quite a pleasant experience. After a scenic boat ride along Singapore River from Clarke Quay, it was the first place I visited before heading up to the Skybar atop of Marina Bay Sands.
I’m a big fan of seeing remarkable man-made structures all across the world, and that’s why I was totally thrilled to have stumbled upon Singapore’s Helix Bridge, a 280-metre long bridge designed to resemble the double helix structure of DNA. How awesome is that right?
I love Universal Studios theme parks; after all, gather up a few film studio entertainment attractions for passionate movie fans like myself and mix them together with a couple of exhilarating thrill rides and you’ve got the perfect recipe for the best amusement park in the world. And that’s why I made a trip to Universal Studios Singapore a must do item on my list of top things to explore during my 4-day stint in the Lion City.

A trip to Singapore is not complete without a visit to one of the most insanely awesome attractions in the “Lion City”: The Marina Bay Sands.
